MSP430I2041: Output properly coming in EMDC GUI- after importing the code to CCS IDE, its not coming.

If I upload the .txt file already given with EVM430-i2040S_SH_1C_50Hz example program, its properly working. When I generate the code from the example and upload it through CCS studio IDE, the output is not coming properly. Apart from metering part, we want to write few more code for our project. So I need to get source code without error. I will attach the images for your reference.

I can see that the calibration numbers are different between the 2, this might be the cause of the differences. Here is the Energy Measurement Center Calibration section. You should be able to see the calibration on both of them as well if you want to compare.

Hi Luke, Thanks for your support. I was calibrated the generated code from EMDC GUI. I got perfect voltage, but still there is an issue with current parameter.

I am using 60W bulb, 0.260 amps approx. but I am getting 0.112 amps. I am attaching the screenshot below.

Is there is any other possibilities to correct this issue.

Hi Murugan,

Depending on your system you might need to tune down some of those calibration parameters. Are you using the EVM with default configuration (default out of box configuration)? Also this application note could be useful if you're using the EVM for Single Phase and DC Embedded Metering (Power Monitor). It provides some extra details on the types of calibrations.

Since I had issue with IDE as you know I have raised another token for that. I cont. able to work on this now. If EMDC GUI problem sort-out, then I will look it on this.
