As our customer here have same question, and the new chip is an effective way to solve that.

But for this chip, do you know whether the MCU's version or EVM version which can be seen from silk screen.

The issue is when my customer change it to another PC, they can succesfully debug it.

So it means, there is no issue with the chip(launchpad).

It just occured on specific PC.

Do you have any idea why is it ?

Hi Kenley,

Please make sure the connect wire(USB-MicroC) is directly connected to PC not use docking.

Some PC may leak electricity and result in this issue.

i have confirmed to customer that they did not use any docking to connect to PC.

It is odd that they could debug another sample code not out of box.
