Hi,

I am trying to compile python firmware application but I am facing some errors in python 3. Does anyone have the latest version updated according to python 3. I tried to change some import keywords like

tkinter but had no success.

Looking forward for the help.

Hello Baseer,

So you want to compiler the firmware application in Python 3, which you want to update into MSP430 using the "python Firmware upgrade GUI", and now you want to know whether there is latest version of the GUI based on Python 3, am I right ?

Hi Janz,

Yes I believe the application and its code is compliant to python 2.7 and is not compatible with python 3 as it needs some modification to run on python 3 smoothly, there are some issues which I am not able to rectify to run or compile it. Can you help me with that if had compiled it in python 3 as I need to add it in my own application.

Hello Baseer,

I am sorry that there is no one can support the Python firmware update GUI. I think that you can download the python 2.7 to compile the code. And if you must use the Python 3, maybe I need to discuss with software team about this issue.
