EVM430-FR6047: Calibration and measure

Part Number: EVM430-FR6047

Tool/software:

Hello TI's experts!

Please help me point me out:

we use DN20 tubes, finished calibration,

      then measure 100L/H, and 9L/H

The VFR of the USS data are below:

           100L/H                                                                                             9L/H

, right? It feels quite different from the theoretical value, I don't know where I haven't operated it?  please  point out us

  • Hi,

Your data does not look good from my side.

At 9L/H, the mean dTOF is around 997ps and the STD of dTOF is around 596ps. The STD value is too high than normal. It could indicates there are big noise in your receive signal. It could related to improper parameter settings and/or transducer and pipe connections.

You need to lower the STD value first before you start calibration process. You can refer to this link how to tune your parameters first to get a better ADC capture signal first.

  •        Hi Cash ,
                Good morning!
Yesterday we were on the calibration bench with water temperature control, and we did another calibration test,
as follows, the test situation is still not ideal. The attach is our test data and operational steps
I just now send email say the data.
Can we book a conference call for a quick conversation, and then in the afternoon and evening, I'll go over to optimize the test verification

Please help guide us ,Thank you ahead!

          Best Regards!

  • Hi Larry,

Tomorrow 10AM or 2PM works for me. Please send me the meeting invite. And send me the data first.

    Best regards,
