MSP430FR6043: MSP430FR6043 Sensor Output ADC Waveform Anomaly for No water condition

Hi Team,

My application is Water Metering with the MSP430FR6043 Controller.

I am trying to get ADC waveforms for the following conditions to characterize the waveforms:

  Case-01: Spool Fully Filled with Water with End Caps On

  Case-02: Empty Spool with End Caps On 

Attached is the actual observed waveforms for both cases. 

In Case-02 where there is no water filled in the spool, I get anomalous waveforms on the oscilloscope but on the USS Design Center by Texas Instruments, I get noise or no clear ADC Capture waveforms. 

Help me understand on how to interpret this waveform that is observed on the Oscilloscope.

The spool details are as follows:

1. Diameter: 15mm (DN15)

2. Supplier: Audiowell

3. Part No.: HS0014
