MSP430FR2633: Design Center is not able to connect to Device

Hey Guys,

i am facing an issue, that my Captivate Design Center tells me the following error when i try to connect it to my Hardware (MSP430FR2633 using TI_Examples\FR2633_Captivate-BSWP).

Sadly ther is no other HID Device connected. I have tried restarting the PC reinstalling the USB Driver and also flashing the tool using Uniflash. There the Software Uniflash automaticly detects the MSP430FR2633. In my Device Manager there are connection 4 Slots when plugging in the Hardware.

Hi Jan,

This looks weird.

Which board you are using? Maybe you can share the connection of your board to PC here.

I suspect that maybe there is more than one USB interfaces on your board.

It seems to be related to your computer. Can you try another PC and double check.

it is just related to my pc, but i have an company laptop so i can not change to a different one

Hi Han,

If it related to your PC (This looks like the HID enumeration has something error), I have no other suggestion for this.

Maybe you can try to update the firmware of the ez-FET, as far as I know, using newer CCS version might require user to update the firmware.

The other option is using virtual machine in PC to see whether it could work.
