We have written firmware for our TI board to allow us to send flow calculations via UART to a custom pcb that we have manufactured. The way that we have this connection hooked up is our RXD pin from the TI board is going into our custom PCB's TX pin.
At a certain stage in our development we were able to see flow values coming from the TI board both on our custom app as well as using programs such as tera term / putty to see data being passed by the TI board. At a recent stage of testing we noticed we could not see flow values on our app. At that point we attempted using a TTL module with putty/tera term and we were still not able to see any values.
We have a second location where we are testing and using the same setup and firmware we were able to see flow values appear on Tera Term/ Putty. Since all variables were the same we are at a loss to why our board here is not transmitting the data.
We have tried reflashing our board many times to no avail as well as making sure both setups are exactly the same.
We are worried it may be a hardware issue and to see how we can check for that. Or if there are any suggestions that you guys have that we can try.
