Hi, all

Does anyone know the difference between msp430fe427 and msp430fe427a ??

I have searched for this question around all TI web, but still don't get the difference in detail

 The datasheets of two of chips which I have checked are almost the same!!! WTF!!!

"The device has SIMILAR FUNCTIONALITY but is not functionally equivalent to the compared device.   The device has SIMILAR FUNCTIONALITY but is not functionally  equivalent to the compared device." 

This description above that is in the link "http://www.ti.com/product/msp430fe427" shows that they are not equivalent, but which one function is not equivalent??

Does anyone know?

    Hi,

    The ESP430CE1/1A/1B module incorporates the SD16, hardware multiplier, and ESP430 embedded processor engine for use in single-phase energy metering applications.

    This document describes the ESP430CE1, its enhancements the ESP430CE1A, and the ESP430CE1B. The ESP430CE1 is implemented in the MSP430FE42x devices, the ESP430CE1A is implemented in the MSP430FE42xA devices, and the ESP430CE1B is implemented in the MSP430FE42x2 devices.
