Part Number: MSP432E401Y
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP-XDS110
Hi Ti Team,
We are currently have our custom board based on the Ti "LP-XDS110 Board Files". Please note that we are using it to create our custom programmer. Therefore, on our hardware we are keeping XDS110 Debugger page with MSP432E401YTPDT connected with USB3300-EZK to support ULPI while removing all unwanted connections from the MSP432. I am also attaching the schematics that we are using and you may see that its exactly like how it is on XDS110 Board.
Please note that USB interface side of the USB3300-EZK is connected to the downstream port of USB5807C/KD. This USB5807C/KD is detected as a Hub on the PC.
We are able to program the MSP432 via SWD interface and also uploaded the same Ti's firmware that is for "LP-XDS110 Board Files" but MSP4320 is not appearing on USB5807's or on the PC side. During debug we found that CLKOUT signal on USB3300 is generating 60MHz, whereas STP is at fixed 3.3V with nothing on NXT and DIR pins.
This STP is supposed to be generated by MSP432 and it must be pulsing (at 5V) like how it is on the Ti programmer board. We tried to swap the Ti programmer board's MSP432 and soldered it on our board and it behaving same like our MSP432, means STP fixed at 3.3V.
We need your help to debug it further.
Kind regards,
Muhammad Awais
