Hi ,
I'm not sure what went wrong but suddenly I'm unable to debug EZ430_RF2500 dongle from IAR.
I noticed numerous references to this problem in this forum and tried some of the suggested solution without any success.

OS: I'm using Win XP SP3 laptop
Dev environement: IAR 4.21 with MSP430.dll version 2.4.2.0 , HIL.dll version 1.2.6.0
and also installed IAR3.42A with MSP430.dll version 2.1.10.1 , HIL.dll version 1.2.2.0
and EZ430-RF2500T V1.0 target board (not sure about the version of the USB dongle part of the kit)
When plugging in the dongle to USB I do see it recognized by the OS:
In device manager I get 2 new entries under HID>HID compliant device & HID>USB HID and also see entry Ports>MSP430 Application UART.
However I can not debug and actually cant see valid connection in IAR project's settings under FET Debugger>Connection (I see only 'Automatic')
Can anyone direct me where the dongle have gone and what should I do to bring it back
Thank in advance.
