Hi all,
I recently started developing for CC430F5137. I have an Olimex MSP430-CCRF developement board and TI MSP-FET430UIF debugger. After uploading a program on the developement board, it is not possible to upload new programs or debug the old program on the chip, due to the "Security Fuse has been blow".
I searched around and it seems that maybe because of the problem in the program that I created, debugger can not attach itself to it. I heard that clearing the BSL of the chip might cure the problem. Can someone please tell me what can I do in this case, and how can I erase the BSL so I can continue using the developement board?
You could get the desired result by making sure that MSP430 enters BSL and then providing a command RX_PASSWORD with wrong password to BSL UART, which will cause a flash mass erase.
Please refer to BSL wiki page for more information.
Regards,
Peppe
