hello,
i was working on programming MCU (msp430f5328) using BSL, i have accessed UART BSL provided bi TI and i was able to communicate with BSL. after that i needed to start working in my own BSL, so i found the sources provided in SLAA450. i made some modifications to memory mapping in linker file to be compatible with our MCU then i burned the .txt file using FETpro 430 software. and downloaded an application.. somehow i lost control on MCU.. BSL cant be accessed and also the JTAG.. when i try to use CCS it gives "UNKNOWN DEVICE" error.
is there any chance that i can recover my MCU?!! :'( :'(

Unfortunately, no. With bad BSL and locked SBW / JTAG it is not possible to re-flash it anymore.

thanks for reply zrno..
can you show me please how to write my own BSL properly (in defined steps) without causing my MCU to fail again. i have read both documents programming MSP430 through BSL, and creating custom BSL but i feel like theres still somethings i'm missing.

Regarding locking device problem with custom BSL ...
