Hi I have a linux Mint 17r2 64 bit system

what is going on with my stuff when I click on "Identify" with the Ti MSP430 USBx picked I get an error

Error initializing emulator "NO USB FET was found

my device via lsusb is at

Bus 005 Device 5 : ID0451:f432 Texas instruments ez430 development tool

What is going on I used to work on the older compiler ( on stolen laptop )

Hi Cris,

Just so I can get some more clarification about your setup, which TI EVM are you using? My best guess is the MSP-EXP430G2 LaunchPad. And you've gotten this same board to work on a different computer? What operating system and CCS version was this computer using? And can you confirm that the eZ430 is properly enumerating on your system?

Unfortunately the ez430 based emulators are not supported by CCS under Linux. See Ubuntu linux 14.04 No USB FET was found
