I have interfaced a GSM modem with MSP430F5438A uC and i'm able to open a TCP/IP socket to Azure IoT Hub. Further data communication with IoT Hub requires SSL/TLS encryption based on certificate. Is there any way to implement SSL/TLS in MSP?

Hi Charles,

Thanks. What processor would you suggest, if we have to opt for linux. Is there any dev boards readily available with linux ported? Suggest us the ways to reduce the design & dev time.

If you don't need Linux, the TM4C129ENCPDT micro-controller has hardware encryption enabled.

The EK-TM4C129EXL launchpad has demos for TLS/SSL.
