Below is the error I receive when I powered the device and open up Energia.
I am not able to load program to the board.

    Hi Roland,

    I recommend trying to update the firmware using CCS. If that doesn't work, please try deleting the drivers (MSP Debug Interface and MSP Application UART1) then retry updating the firmware. New drivers will be installed and it will prompt you to update the firmware for the debugger.

    Thanks Caleb,

    I have tried your suggestion but it did not work.

    Updating  the firmware using CSS did not work. I deleted the drivers and also reinstall CSS. New drivers were installed and all my previous launchpads worked but the new  MSP-EXP430F5529LP still fails.

    the computer still does not recognize the launchpad.
