Below is the error I receive when I powered the device and open up Energia.
I am not able to load program to the board.
Energia: 1.6.10E18 (Windows 7), Board: "MSP-EXP430F5529LP"

I have tried your suggestion but it did not work.
Updating the firmware using CSS did not work. I deleted the drivers and also reinstall CSS. New drivers were installed and all my previous launchpads worked but the new MSP-EXP430F5529LP still fails.
the computer still does not recognize the launchpad.
