CCS/MSP430F5529: Receiving an Error on Code Composer Studio

Hi there,

I have been using CCS.6 before with no problem. Recently I am not able to run the same code, as I get an error. I have attached a print-screen of it for your review.

I uninstalled it and downloaded CCS.7, but still I am getting the same problem.

Please let me know what I can do to fix this problem.

Hi Niloofar,

This is not an issue with you CCS version. This is an issue with the debugger you are using to program the MSP430. Have you attempted the "Recover" option that CCS is telling you to try?

Hi Caleb,

Thank you so much for your response. Yes, I have tried to recover several times. It goes back to the edition mode and the same error pops up as I try to debug again.

The solution in the previous post did not fix my problem! Now I am working with other Launch Pad and computer to complete my assignment.
