Is there any micro controller with inbuilt Mod bus protocol.

Hi Karuppusamy,

Unfortunately, there is not an MSP430 device that has the Modbus protocol built in. However, the majority of our devices contain a UART module that can be used for this purpose. The Modbus protocol will then have to be implemented in software. There are a variety of resources from others doing just this. A quick google search turns up the following:

Hi Karuppusamy,

Modbus communication is possible through the UART mode of the (e)USCI peripheral, but the protocol itself has not been built in.
