MSP430FR6047: EVM Quick Start

Hello,

I have the EVM430-FR6047 v2.0, successfully connected to the GUI. When I start the measurement with the default parameter, I found there are no wave on the Waveforms window, and ADC Capture window show Irregular waveform. 

The Error Message show No signal detected in up and downstream channel. I try to change some parameters, however nothing has changed.

I can capture the correct waveform on the oscilloscope.

    Hi Leonard,

    What type of transducer are you using and what is nominal excitation frequency in water(assuming your using this for water flow)?

    Can you please provide the ADC waveform snapshot that you mention is irregular?  

    Can you also provide your configuration?  You can save the configuration as an .xml from the main window of the GUI.

    I am sorry about the incomplete question.

    Transducer excitation frequency = 1 MHz

    nominal excitation frequency = 1MHZ

    Leonard,

    Thanks for providing this information.  It appears that the start PPG Count timing is too short to properly capture the waveform.  I recommend changing this time to 300,000ns.  Let me know if this solves the problem for you.  Thanks!  

    Also, it appears this is an error in the default configuration of the GUI.  We will get this updated so that other users do not run into the same issue.
