Hi,
I have a question about MSP430FR6047 EVM .
Since the input signal is as small as 7 to 8 mVpp, is it possible to measure the propagation time with such a small input?
Best Regards.
Koki
Hi Koki,
What is your means? using a small input to test the performance?
Thanks!
Best Regards
Johnson
Hi Johnson,
Yes, I have a test whether small input is detected or not.
In the Data Sheet P.70, minimum input that PGA can detected is 30mVpp.
So 8mVpp can not detected, right?

Hi Koki,
What's the applicaiton? MSP430 USS module using a 12-bit ADC(V rfe = 755mv), thus this USS be able to detect the lower voltage, such as :7mv.
Maybe you can do some test.
Thanks!
Best Regards
Johnson
Hi Johnson,
I use Ultrasonic Sensing Design Center.
> MSP430 USS module using a 12-bit ADC(V rfe = 755mv), thus this USS be able to detect the lower voltage, such as :7mv.
PGA input range is more than 30mVpp, right.
So original received waveform is needed more 30mVpp.
Is this idea correct?
If I make a mistake, please point it out.
Thanks,
Best Regards
Koki
