MSP430G2553: UART communicaton missing character

Hello,

I am communiting with MSP430F5438A via UART using MSP430G2553. I can read and write without no error. But when i try to send 42 byte size array with MSP430F5438A, MSP430G2553 can not read the last character. Weird thing is that if i send more than 42 character, let say 50 character, MSP430G2553 can read between and including 43 and 50. I cant figure out what is the problem.

Whatever the problem is, it is not your code.

Whatever the problem is, it happens only at 42. byte. Do you have any suggestion for me to look?

Hi Recep,

a possible root cause could be logic error, an error with their loop boundaries, possibly an array out of bounds error, or a buffer overflow.
Please check "Solutions to Common eUSCI and USCI Serial Communications" (http://www.ti.com/lit/slaa734) and there section "Common UART Communication Issues". This may help to eliminate device configuration errors.

I didnt find the reason. So instead of trying, i chose parsing data. At the end i could finish the project before. So you can close this post.
