Hi,

We need to connect two MSP430's(MSP430FR6989) in our application and we want to
program the Slave MSP through Master MSP through JTAG. I could not figure out the hardware connection.

Can anyone please explain?

Hi,

Theoretically, you can connect GPIO pins from Master MSP to JTAG pin of Slave MSP. And you have to write software to simulate the JTAG timing.

I am using this exmple www.ti.com/.../slau265j.pdf but it is for MSP430f5437, I tried changing the code but that is not enough, is there any file I can download from TI website to program jtag with MSP430FR6989.

I have used the code you reffered and made some changes required for FR6989 but I am still getting this compile time error.

Either include "" or include "", not both.

You included all the files, that's why you got redefine error.

I am sorry, did you mean I only have to include files required for FR6989 series coz I tried doing that and still got errors.

That is what I did but this exmple doesn't have those files like FramErase.c but still included in JTAgfunc430FR.c is that ok to use them.
