Part Number: MSP430G2553

I am taking an output from pin no P1.4 (msp exp430g2 version1.5 launchpad) to analyze the SMCLK. I am changing all the possible values for DCO, MODx, RSEL, DIVSx etc , but my oscilloscope shows 1.016Mhz frequency continously. Can you help me where I go wrong. why frequency at P1.4 not changing at all

    could you please share some more details of the exact register settings that you use? It'll help me to troubleshoot your issue.

    Moreover, you can take a look at a provided example code. Within CCS open the TI Resource Explorer->MSP430Ware->MSP430G2xx->MSP430G2553->msp430g2xx3_dco_calib.c . This can also help you to verify some of the register settings.

    Please share some of the requested details and let me know if the example code helped.
