Hi,
I have looked through the code for the sample code on the IR remote control for the FR4133. In the code, they are using TA for the TX and RX for the IR Modulator. On the FR2311, there is only TB0 and TB1. Based on the following from the family guide, is my understanding that the Timer B an upgrade to the Timer A and it can do the same function for the IR modulation?

Similarities and Differences From Timer_A
Timer_B is identical to Timer_A with the following exceptions:
• The length of Timer_B is programmable to be 8, 10, 12, or 16 bits.
• Timer_B TBxCCRn registers are double-buffered and can be grouped.
• All Timer_B outputs can be put into a high-impedance state.
• The SCCI bit function is not implemented in Timer_B.
