RTOS/MSP-EXP430FR6989: Can't run TI-RTOS projects

Tool/software: TI-RTOS

I'm using TI-RTOS example projects.

They compile and build successfully, but I wasn't able to run any of them.

I'm getting the following message when I try to debug.

Hi Wahib,

Please go to Project Properties -> General and switch the compiler to TI v.16.9.6.LTS.

Hi Winter,

That compiler version is not available by default, because I'm using the latest version of CCSv8.
I downloaded that version (https://youtu.be/HyDJwKFu6EQ) and now everything works fine.
