Hello All,

Further question from customer:

On the board customer inserted a 2x7 connector to be used with the MSP430 USB-Debug-Interface (MSP-FET430UIF) emulator.
Do you confirm that the migration of CCS Studio to windows 64bit has no impact with the use of the emulator?

Hi Antonio,

the MSP-FET430UIF is not recommended for new designs, thus I can't give a guarantee that it will work with CCS 64bit.

The MSP-FET is the new generation and will be supported by all upcoming CCS versions.

Can I know if the other side of micro-USB probe connector is micro-USB or USB ? My PC doesn't have a micro-USB port.

The MSP-FET has a Micro-USB connection on the one side and a 2x7 male header on the other side.
You connect it with a normal USB/Micro-USB cable to your PC.
