MSP-EXP430FR2355: Failed to match a default include file

Hi,

I recently bought a MSP-EXP430FR2355 launch pad but when I am trying to compile the code with Energia I get this error:

...\energia-1.8.7e21-windows\energia-1.8.7e21\hardware\tools\msp430\bin\../lib/gcc/msp430/4.6.3/../../../../msp430/include/msp430.h:1793:2: error: #error "Failed to match a default include file"

I am working with Energia 1.8.7E21 and installed in the board manager the latest version 1.0.5 of MSP430 boards and selected the board "MSP-EXP430FR2355LP"

i can compile for my other board MSP-EXP430FR2433 without any problems so i think the problem came from a file which not recognise this new board.

    Hi Max,

    1.  Open msp430.h file under folder energia-1.8.7E21\hardware\tools\msp430\msp430\include

    2. Add msp430fr2355.h definition in msp430.h file.

    3. Save.

    And then your problem should be solved.

    Yes it works, we need to add this to file: energia-1.8.7E21-windows\energia-1.8.7E21\hardware\tools\msp430\msp430\include\msp430.h

    #elif defined (__MSP430FR2355__)
    #include "msp430fr2355.h"
