Tool/software: Code Composer Studio
Hello All, I had a working setup of USB MSP FET Emulation Tool talking to MSP430F series uC. I had uninstalled & reinstalled CCS V6,2 due to issue with Energy Trace on CCS. Prior to uninstall, I had everything working, i.e. MSP FET tool able to flash onto the controller.
now, everytime I debug using CCS IDE, I see error
MSP430: Error initializing emulator: Could not set device Vcc
I have seen lot of forums for this error, but none of the tricks mentioned have worked - can anyone suggest me what could be wrong?
edit:
I don't have anything that is powered from MSP FET, the board was & is externally powered.
Tried 2 different FET devices, getting same error on both of them. swapped USB terminals, USB cables, same result.
however, I'm able to flash microcontroller using Lite FET-Pro430 Elprotronic software.
