MSP430G2553: ADC

MAYURI KARVANDE

Part Number: MSP430G2553

The voltage difference between the ADC pin 1.1 and ground of MSP430G2553 is 3.5V i.e high. I am unable to read correct ADC value due to this. How do I resolve this issue?

Do you have BIT1 (P1.1) of P1REN set? Per the schematics in the data sheet (SLAS735J) just before Table 16, the resistor isn't disabled by much of anything.

If you're using a Launchpad, be sure to remove the RXD/TXD jumpers from the "bridge" headers (G2: J3, G2ET: J101/J105).

You should probably also have BIT1 (A1) of ADC10AE0 set, though that won't cause this particular symptom.
