Hi,
We have recently purchased a MSP-FET Flash Emulation Tool from mouser. When I was trying to connect to MSP430F4132 through MSP-FET debugger with 4 wire JTAG connection(FET-Pro430 lite), it shows below error:
JTAG communication initialization.... failed
Verifying Security Fuse .................... failed
--------------- FAILED !!! -----------------
=====================================
JTAG communication initialization.... failed
Verifying Security Fuse .................... failed

When I tried to execute "Verify Security fuse" command it shows below error:
Target Microcontroller is not responding!!!
Please check the connection between the adapter and target microcontroller.
So I have also tried to download and debug from IAR workbench, there also no success and shows below error:

Let me know where I am going wrong or how to establish a connection with MSP430F4132 through JTAG 4 wire/2 wire?
Hi Aanchal,
I don't know what you mean with the 10-pin JTAG connector, but can you confirm the connections to MSP430 are as shown below:
Is it possible for you to test SBW mode? Note that the connection is as shown below:
Finally, are you using your own board or a TI board (if so, which one)?
Have you tried using the MSP-FET with other boards/devices?
Is your MSP-FET updated with the latest drivers?
Regards,
Luis R
