MSP432P401R: Unable to connect to target after incorrectly setting DCO

In my 3am stupor I miscounted the number of zeros, and set the DCO to 64MHz using CS_setDCOFrequency(64000000);

Now when I try to program the device (using an MSP FET) I get `CORTEX_M4_0: Error connecting to the target: Unknown device` I am unable to connect to the device to do a factory reset either (CCS V9).

Is there anything I can do to save the MSP or do I just need to abandon ship and resolder a new one on?

I've had some success with other Cortex-M devices by holding down the Reset button until the debugger is trying/retrying to connect and then releasing the button. It usually takes a few tries.

That said, I've always succeeded with the factory reset, even once (actually twice -- I was being clumsy) when I set All the bits in one of the clock registers.

Just gave this a try. Unfortunately no luck. I tried literally over 100 times. I am going to go ahead and write this one off, resolder a new MCU on, and try never to do that again.
