Hello,

I am interested to know that whether MSP430FR5994 can work in the temperature range of -40C to -50C.  You read correct , it is  minus 40C to minus 50C!

whether reply given in  below e2e link is valid for any operating parameter going out of data sheet value ?

    Hello Sunil,

    yes, in principle the thread applies also here. The only difference in contrary to temperatures above the specified range, the risk of damaging the device due to thermal over stress is of course not given. But as stated, we cannot guarantee any parameters at -50degC. If you would like to use the devices under such conditions, you'd need to test and characterize the behavior on your own risk.
