Does the MSP432E3 LaunchPad support EnergyTrace? I can't find the MSP432E4 listed in the supported processors, but I'm a little surprised if it doesn't.

Hi Phil,

I searched the forum and found the following thread.

Basically, the MSP-EXP432E401Y LaunchPad does not natively support EnergyTrace. However, you could possibly use the MSP-FET debugger with the adapter for MSP432 MCUs, the XDS110-ET found on the MSP432P4 LaunchPads, or the standalone XDS110 (TMDSEMU110-U) + EnergyTrace HDR accessory (TMDSEMU110-ETH).

Just be mindful about the max output current of 100 mA.
