Hi ,
From this thread, it seems that the connexion from the evm to the TIDA01486 with one pair of transducer has been resolved. But I can not understand how. Could you help me wiht that ?
Thank you,
Simon Gosset.

Hi Simon,
the solution is simple: Use a soldering iron, a sharp knife, cutters etc. and modify the EVM6047 to make it fit.
On the left you see the original transducer Interface of the 'FR6047EVM. On the right side you see an extended one with split inputs and outputs using a wider post connector. From stage it is just a set of patch cables (of same length) you need to interface both boards.
That was all the magic. ...and you were right ... there is no simple way to interface.
But you can make it happen...
I wish you all happy soldering and a nice day
Johann
Hi,
Thank you for this detaill answer.
I was wondering if the rewiring of the COMM_SDA pin was mandatory. If I understand correctly,tThe rewired COMM_SDA goes on an unused pin on the new connector ?
Best regard,
Simon.
Hi,
Could you give some details for the COMM_SDA pin ? For me it seems that it's not linked to anything on the pin header ?
Thank you,
Simon.
Hello Simon,
The COMM_SDA in the schematics is used for something else and is completely unrelated to the interface to TIDA01486 board.
Focus here was that you need to split inputs and outputs to build an interface between TIDA01486 and the EVM430-FR6047.
The photo should illustrate and encourage to build a mechanical connection extension that can take the forces for the interface cable.
Thank you
Johann
Ok,
thank you for your help. The modification was sucessfully done with your instructions.
Simon.
