He was using an old sign. So I bought a new one and when I connected it on the PC it presented the following errors .... Could someone help me
MSP430: Error initializing emulator: One of the connected MSP-FETs / eZ-FETs debuggers needs recovery. Select 'Recover' to start the recovery process. Note: Only one MSP-FET / eZ-FET debugger can be connected to your system during recovery.
MSP430: Error: MSP-FET / eZ-FET recovery failed
Strange because when I connect another msp430f5529 it works normally. The problem happens only in this new one that we acquire
One thing I noticed since I took the msp430 out of the box was that, whenever I connect the card to my pc it recognizes the card as a device .... opening a _readme.txt file .... Well I think this is normal, of the new plates. What didn't happen when I bought my old card ... Having said that, I'm thinking of trying to "format" the format options on the pc .. Do you recommend doing this?
Hi Daniel,
I have no idea why a readme file pops up. I know this EVM has an SD card slot. Do you have an SD card installed?
Yes, possible.
You indicated earlier that if you connected another MSP430F5529 it worked. Is it also MSP-EXP430F5529 EVM? or is it an MSP430F5529 Launchpad?
Where did you purchase the EXP430F5529 from?
