MSP-GANG: Blank LCD Problem

Hi Jose,

Is there any way that the MSP-GANG could have been damaged physically? Can you try updating the MSP-GANG GUI version and firmware?

MSP-GANG: dose not work, how to recover?

Thanks for your quick response.

I have the latest version available: A430: 01.03.03.00

I went ahead and updated it anyway. Before the update it was showing distorted text on the screen.

After the update, the LCD went blank again.

I ran a self test and got these two errors.

The pasted image didn't seem to have been included.

The errors were related to LCD RAM.

Hi James,

If it is physically damaged, it would be components failure because the unit has not been dropped or exposed to heat and humidity.

Hi Jose,

I suspect that the LCD itself is faulty. If it's still under warranty, I would recommend working with the distributor (wherever it was purchased) to get a replacement. Otherwise, you'd need to order a new MSP-GANG.
