CCS/MSP432P401R: MSP432P401R SPI Examples are out of date, don't match the SDK library calls

Hi,

  The examples for spi in the sdk, simplelink_msp432p4_sdk_3_40_01_02 are for the 432 "Y", labeled legacy, and won't work for the launchpad because the sdk library calls no longer exist.

   Could someone update the driver examples, for example, with the code used here: "kaikailiu.cmpe.sjsu.edu/.../"

    Hi Bob,

    I'm not sure what you mean when you say the examples for the "Y" device won't work. The SimpleLink MSP432P4 SDK includes examples for the MSP432P401R and MSP432P4111 Launchpads. Are you importing a SPI example for one of these Launchpads into CCS, and then changing the example project settings to use the MSP432P401Y/MSP431P4111Y as the device, and then it does not build? Can you specifically tell me what errors you are having?

    Can you also tell me what version of CCS you are using and which compiler version you are using to build?
