BOOSTXL-DRV8320RS: C2000Ware - 3.04.00.00: Over current in Lab03 using LAUNCHXL-TMS320F280049C with BOOSTXL-DRV8320RS

Hi Team,

Customer is encountering overcurrent in his test, below is the details.

"With Lab03 I run into an over current error right after I activate the Lab by setting motorVars.flagEnableSys and motorVars.flagRunIdentAndOnLine to 1. With 23.8e-3 Ohms, the attached motor has a rather low phase resistance. By attaching another motor with some 4 Ohms phase resistance, everything works fine.

I already tried to tweak USER_MOTOR_VOLT_MIN_V, USER_MOTOR_VOLT_MAX_V, USER_MOTOR_FREQ_MIN_HZ, USER_MOTOR_FREQ_MAX_HZ, USER_MOTOR_FREQ_LOW_HZ, and USER_MOTOR_FREQ_HIGH_HZ.

Which parameters am I supposed to change, so that the over current error vanishes?

7026.user.h

Other details:
The BOOSTXL is attached to the right connector on the LAUNCHXL and I already set motorVars.dacValH and motorVars.dacValL almost to the full scale current.

when no motor is connected, there is no over current error."

Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Maynard
