Are the two PGND pins of the DRV8955 tied together internal to the device? The block diagram in the data sheet implies this, but I wanted to double-check.
The reason for this question is that there is interest in adding external current sense to the driver circuit. If the PGNDs are separated internally, then we may be able to use low-side sensing for pairs of H-Bridges. Otherwise we would need to use high-side sensing in order to separate the currents.
