Hi team,

DRV8316REVM and F280049C cannot be connected to the computer after the hardware is connected, as shown in the figure.

In the web version gui provided by the development board, he cannot connect to the computer according to the steps in the manual, and the error is as follow:

The computer device manager shows a driver error.

Customer would like to know how to resolve this case?

Hi Annie,

Looks like a firmware upgrade may be needed for the LAUNCHXL-F280049C? Can the customer connect to the LAUNCHXL-F280049C in Code Composer Studio, i.e. run a target configuration Test or run an example project?

If it is convenient, please tell me the specific operation steps or the location in the operation manual.

Hi Annie,

Last step, if the DRV8316REVM is unconnected from the LaunchPad, does the GUI download program into the MCU? If so, then it's a DRV8316REVM issue, if not, then it's an MCU issue.

Not sure the issues if LP is not connecting to the computer since it says "Tiva Device Firmware Update" on the Device Manager. I'll forward to C2000 team for help debug on that.
