Does this device detect any initial velocity when the motor starts?
(Are you detecting zero speed when starting?)

Hello Tanaka-san,

Yes, the DRV8308 will wait to start driving the motor until the motor is at a "zero speed".

The stopped condition is determined by measuring the period of the HALL_U signal; when the period exceeds 160 ms, typical operation resumes and the motor starts spinning in the commanded direction.
