I can't seem to reproduce this. What version of CCS are you using? When you import the project, can you make sure that the "Copy projects into workspace" box isn't checked?

In your project properties, can you take a look at the "Linked Resources" settings and confirm that the path variable "MW_INSTALL_DIR" correctly reflects your actual install location. Note that you can hover over the value to see the resolved location.

When you build the project, does it help to do a clean before you build?

Also double check that you copied the files exactly as described in the documentation. Especially the contents of the instaspin_foc folder. The incorrect paths shown in the console output you shared suggest that the project is in the wrong location.

I am using CSS version 11, I've just downloaded it and installed it.

the "copy into workspace" was not checked when I imported the project.

When I clean the project, it does not help.

How do I get to my Linked Resources settings please?

I copied the files different times, I am not sure what else I need to do, please.

This is what I get in Resources:

I now cleaned all the errors by copying and pasting lots of subfolders.

I get one last message I can't get rid of:

I had to copy the content of the sw  folder inside the sw/solutions/sw folder to remove 36 errors. 

Have you got more ideas to fix this one please?

Can I send my sw folder structure in an email, please? This tool does not let me upload it in here.

There seems to be a hardcoded path in the #include search path that needs to be updated to match your actual installation directory. That should solve these "cannot open source file" issues.

You probably just need to remove the "_drv8353."

It looks like gDeviceVariant is supposed to be declared in proj_lab05b.c. Do you not see it in there? Did that file not get replaced when you did the copy? For me, it's there on line 109--"uint16_t gDeviceVariant = 0xFF;"

I get those warnings too. I don't think they're serious issues, but if you want to clean them up, you can replace the constant being assigned to the enumerated type variable and replace it with the equivalent enumerated value.

For example, you can change "DRV8353_Address_e drvRegAddr = 0;" to "DRV8353_Address_e drvRegAddr = Address_Status_0;"
