    Hello Kevin,

    The schematic for the DRV8840 looks good to me, but the voltage input to VREFx seems to be 0.76 V after the R19 and R20 resistor divider. The recommended operating condition for VREFx is 1.0 V - 3.3 V. VREFx is operational between 0.0 V - 1.0 V, however the accuracy is degraded. I will check with the team and respond again in a day.

    Hello Kevin,

    It looks like you want I_CHOP = 1.5 A based on R19, R20, and R22. I would advise using a greater VREFx voltage for better accuracy and then increasing R22 accordingly. Here is a possible configuration for I_CHOP = 1.5 A:

    • R19 = 10 kΩ
    • R20 = 10 kΩ
    • R22 = 220 mΩ
