DRV8300: The maximum driven current

Part Number: DRV8300

Hi team,

Could u kindly help to check the following questions:

1.Is the spec IDRIVEP_HS the single bridge driven current? Is the value the peak value or valid value?

2. Could u provide the plot of IDRIVEP_HS over temperature?

  • Hi Zoey,

    1. The IDRIVEP_HS is the gate current used for switching on one of the high side MOSFETs. This is referring to the peak gate drive current.

    2. We don't have a plot available of IDRIVEP_HS vs temperature, however I can say that at higher temperatures the IDRIVEP_HS gate current will trend lower and at lower temperatures the IDRIVEP_HS gate current will trend higher, all within the min/max rating of the IDRIVEP_HS spec for temperature between -40C and 150C

    Regards,
