DRV8308: drv8308 Rest pin 3.3V for 100ms applied without VM voltage

Hi team, 

Use of TI brushless DC motor driver DRV8308RHAR
I am contacting you regarding a matter that I would like to confirm.

In the high-impedance state where the power supply voltage is not input to the VM pin,
There is a mode in which 3.3V is input to the RESET pin for about 100ms.
I would like you to confirm whether element destruction or inconvenience will occur if this is repeated.

Thank you for your patience.

Since the applied 3.3V input is lower than the Absolute Maximum rating for this pin (5.75V), regardless of power supply voltage being applied to the VM pin, this should be fine and will not result in element destruction or inconvenience if repeated.

When doing this, make sure to set a current limit on the 3.3V power supply so it does not source too much current from the power supply itself.
