Hi,

Good Day.

We would like to try out the sinewave commutation of MCF8316A on a brushless motor.

We found an eval board MCF8316AEVM which has a GUI.

MCF8316A has 2 sinewave modulations: continuous and discontinuous PWM.

Can you confirm that the GUI can activate both to compare noise?

If not is there another way to switch this on/off feature?

    Hi Ray,

    Thanks for your question on the Motor Drives E2E Forum. 

    The MCF8316AEVM GUI does have both continuous and discontinuous PWM mode for evaluation and tuning.
