DRV10970: Alternative for 24-28V

Hi,

I am searching for alternative to DRV10970 - PWM controlled, sensored (3 hall sensors) three phase brushless DC motor driver with integrated FETs which is limited to 18V while our need is at 24 (or up to 28) volts. Could you please suggest similar usable at higher voltage and with current up to 2 or 2.5A?

We recommend checking MCT8316Z which supports 3x Hall sensors, 24V and up to 8A peak motor current.

Hello Vishnu,

maybe one more - is there something that is not QFN only? Something in let's say HTSSOP 24 package? Something with actual leads that the amps can flow through? Or can really be the tiny QFN pads trusted for such currents? (well, the plan is to go only up to 2.5A peak, not the 8A rated, but stil.. I'm hesitant)

Hi Josef,

MCT8316Z is designed to operate with 8A peak current and the pins should be able to take this current. Unfortunately, we don't have a TSSOP package for this device.
