DRV8962: DRV8962

Part Number: DRV8962

Wanted to confirm the operation of cycle by cycle limit of DRV8962 for a motor load--When set current limit is reached, fixed OFF time at 17uS is set. I am not controlling the ON time based on this ITRIP. So expecting variable frequency PWM when ITRIP levels are reached. This way current is kept below the ITRIP value.

Also , Is the below mentioned values the overcurrent levels at which shutdown happens . How does the overcurrent shutdown happen?  Is overcurrent shutdown triggered by checking if the  current levels are above the ITRIP at the end of OFF time or is the overcurrent shutdown triggered when current levels reach IOCP 16A (DDV package) with a delay of tOCP 2.2uS
