DRV8316C-Q1: Does CSA still work if set VREF/ILIM to cycle-by-cycle current limit?

Could Current Sense Amplifier and Current Limit work simultaneously? Looking datasheet, it seems only to choose one of them work.

Would you help confirm?

You are correct, you can only use the device in either CSA mode or in current limiting mode.
