Whether DRV8701 can be designed to output 60A

    Hi Gareth,

    The DRV8701 is an external FET driver. The max current is depended on the external FET. Another limitation is thermal which is impacted by the power dissipation through the FETs and the PCB.

    Yes. As long as the FETs are 60A capable and there is enough heatsinking on your PCB to dissipate the heat.
