Hello everyone, I have just unboxed this module and connected it to my PC and a 12V PSU but am unable to get it to communicate with the GUI 
.
I have tried every baud rate available (and each of the two serial ports that enumerate when it is connected) - all without success and am now completely stuck.
For background I have fitted 6 links on the pin pairs of J7 to connect the respective lines between the MSP430 and the m all and when I connect it to USB and apply 12V to +Bat the following LEDs illuminate:-
Vm LED D3 Green
PWR LED D6 Green
3v3 LED D3 Green
nFault LED D2 Red (flashing about 4Hz)
If I press the reset button the red flashing stops while the button is held and then resumes once it is released.
I tried both the 0.5 and 1.0 versions of the GUI and can get neither to connect.
The only (indirect success that anything works is if I click on File->ProgramDevice where it seems to connect to the MSP430 and flash it successfully (the Mode LED D5 flashes while this is happening). It then reports that the flashing was successful and the GUI tries to reconnect and fails (again).
Can I please get some assistance with this EVM and getting the GUI to talk to it ?.
